Mpox in Burundi

On 29 August 2024, the WHO provided an update on countries that have so far reported clade Ib mpox cases. Burundi is the most affected country outside of the Democratic Republic of the Congo with 258 confirmed cases distributed across the country. No deaths have been reported.
