As of 24 August 2024, a total of 123,267 dengue cases, with 52 deaths, have been reported in 2024. DENV-1, DENV-2 , DENV-3 and DENV-4 have all been identified in the country.

As of 26 July 2024, a total of 58,270 dengue cases, and 26 deaths, have been reported since the beginning of 2024. DENV-1, DENV-2 and DENV-3 viruses have been identified in the country.

Dengue in Honduras
On 31 May 2024, the Government of Honduras declared a national health emergency due to an increase in dengue hospital admissions. To date 23,037 dengue cases and 16 confirmed deaths have been reported nationally.
